An Adamantite Plate Mail Body is a plate mail body which requires 30 Defense to wear. It can be made at level 88 Smithing from 5 adamantite bars, yielding 312.5 experience. It is the second best plate mail body in the game, surpassed only by the Rune Plate Mail Body.

Like all plate mail bodies, it can not be worn with any sort of gloves.

It can be exchanged for an Adamantite Plate Mail top and vice-versa by using it on Thrander, located near the east bank in Varrock.

The Adamantite Plate Mail Body was the highest-tier plate body available in RuneScape Classic until the Rune Plate Mail Body was released on 23 September 2001.
When it was first added to Valaine's Shop of Champions on 8 May 2001, it had a cost of 40,040 coins. ^[1] It was changed to its current price in an unknown update.
