Arrows are a type of ammunition used with bows in the Ranged skill to inflict damage on opponents. They are the third strongest ranged ammunition in the game, behind throwing knives and spears. They can be created by members using the Fletching skill. To do that, the player must have arrow shafts (cut from normal logs), feathers and arrowheads. The arrow made is determined by the type of arrowhead attached.
Arrows can only be fired from bows that are strong enough to use them.
Arrows have a chance of breaking after being fired, losing the arrow. If the arrow has been broken, the arrow will not appear on the ground to be picked up. The chance of losing an arrow after shooting is approximately 20%.
During the Underground Pass quest, a damp cloth is used on an arrow to produce a doused arrow. The arrow is then lit and shot at an old bridge in order to progress in the dungeon.
Arrow types
There are several different types of arrows that require different bows to fire.
