Bat bones are items you can bury for 4.5 Prayer experience. This is not the best way for training Prayer, Bats are higher combat than Chickens, and you get just a slightly higher prayer experience.
Bat bones can be ground with Pestle and mortar. Ground bat bones are used to create Ogre potions and Magic ogre potions.
During Merlin's Crystal one set of bat bones are dropped on pentagram to summon and vanquish Thrantax.
