Black knights are monsters who serve in a Zamorakian army. They are involved in several quests, including Black Knights' Fortress, and Heroes' Quest. Their rivals are the White Knights.

Prominence in Gielinor

There are several non-player characters related to the black knights, such as Lord Darquarius and Iban. The Black Knight titan must be defeated in The Holy Grail quest.

Training

Black knights are commonly used for melee training due to their proximity to an altar inside of the Black Knights' Fortress, allowing the use of prayer. This was particularly popular in free-to-play RuneScape Classic.
