Blamish oil is a quest item used with a regular fishing rod to get an oily fishing rod for completing Hero's Quest. After obtaining blamish snail slime from Gerrant in Port Sarim, the slime is then mixed with unfinished harralander potion at level 25 Herblaw to make blamish oil. Doing so gives the player 80 Herblaw experience. The oil is then applied to the regular rod to turn it into an oily rod and catch raw lava eels.
| Note: It is impossible to obtain Blamish snail slime after completing Hero's Quest. If the Oily Fishing Rod is lost and the player has no more Blamish oil, the player will never again be able to fish Raw lava eels. |
