Before starting Tree Gnome Village quest[]

Player: hello
bolren: well hello stranger
bolren: my name's bolren, i'm the king of the tree gnomes
bolren: i'm surprised you made it in
bolren: maybe i made the maze too easy

bolren: i'm afraid i have more serious concerns at the moment
bolren: very serious

  - bolren: battling the dark forces of khazard to the north

bolren: it's being held by khazard troops
bolren: to the west of the maze
bolren: above the khazard fight arena
Player: ok i'll try my best

After agreeing to help Commander Montai fix the Ballista[]

Player: hello bolren
bolren: the orb is being held at the battlefield
bolren: to the north of the maze
bolren: above the khazard fight arena

After finding the Orb of protection, not in your inventory[]

Player: king bolren are you ok?
bolren: do you have the orb?
Player: no, i'm afraid not
bolren: please, we must have the orb
bolren: if we are to survive

After finding the Orb of protection, having it in inventory[]

Player: king bolren are you ok?
Player: i have the orb
bolren: thank you traveller, but it's too late
bolren: we're all doomed
bolren: oh my the misery, the horror
Player: what happened?
bolren: they came in the night
bolren: i don't how many, enough
Player: who?
bolren: khazard troops
bolren: they slaughtered anyone who got in their way
bolren: women, children, my wife
Player: i'm sorry
bolren: they took the other orbs
bolren: now we're defenseless
Player: where did they take them?
bolren: they headed north of the
bolren: battlefields to the dead valleys
bolren: a warlord carries the orbs

bolren: the orbs are gone
bolren: taken north of the battlefield by a khazard warlord
bolren: we're all doomed

After killing the Khazard warlord for the Orbs of protection, not in your inventory[]

Player: bolren, i have returned
bolren: you made it back
bolren: do you have the orbs?
Player: no, i'm afraid not
bolren: please, we must have the orbs
bolren: if we are to survive

After killing the Khazard warlord for the Orbs of protection, having them in inventory[]

Player: bolren, i have returned
bolren: you made it back
bolren: do you have the orbs?
Player: i have them here
bolren: hooray, you're amazing
bolren: i didn't think it was possible
bolren: but you've saved us
bolren: once the orbs are replaced we will be safe once more
bolren: come with me and we shall begin the ceremony
Player: what now?
bolren: the spirit tree has looked over us for centuries
bolren: now we must pay our respects
[bolren takes the orbs]
[the gnomes begin to chant]

[They continue to chant]
[As the king gnome climbs the tree]
[placing the two Orbs at the peak of the spirit tree]
bolren: now at last my people are safe once more
bolren: and can live in peace
Player: i'm pleased i could help
bolren: you are modest brave traveller
bolren: please for your efforts take this amulet
bolren: it's made from the same sacred stone as the orbs of protection
bolren: it will help keep you safe on your journeys
Player: thank you king bolren
bolren: the tree has many other powers
bolren: some of which i cannot reveal
bolren: however as a friend of the gnome
bolren: people you can now use the tree's
bolren: magic to teleport to other trees
bolren: grown from related seeds
