The Cape of legends is the one of many things available after completing the Legend's Quest, which is the final quest released RuneScape Classic. It has the appearance of a plain, white cape, and it can be purchased from the Legends' Guild Shop for 675 coins.
It is widely considered to be the best cape in RSC due to its +7 armour bonus. However, god capes have a +10 magic bonus and are more favorable to players using Magic.
Due to the quest's high skill and quest point requirements, not to mention the quest's overall length, this is the most time consuming cape that a RSC player can obtain. It being worn is a symbol that the player has completed the final quest, and is thought of as RSC's equivalent to a quest point cape.

It is possible to equip the Legends cape without even starting the quest if the player acquired it during the game's transition to RuneScape 2 and then moved the item back to RSC, as was made possible during that time.
