Copper ore is an item that players can mine with level 1 mining from a copper rock. They are also a common find from level 1 archaeology sites in Digsite. Mining copper grants 17.5 experience for each ore mined. A player can smelt copper ore into a bronze bar through the smithing skill by using it on a furnace with tin ore, granting 6.25 smithingexperience. At level 25 mining, the chance for failing to mine copper ore is significantly reduced.
