The Dusty Key is a key that is required to unlock a gate in the Taverley dungeon, allowing the player to access the Blue Dragon area and beyond.

Obtaining the Dusty Key

There are three ways to obtain a dusty key:

Velrak the Explorer (Taverley Dungeon)

• Jail keys must be obtained by killing the Jailer in the Black knight prison inside the Taverley Dungeon
• Jail keys must be used on the door to the southern cell containing Velrak the explorer
• Velrak will give you the dusty key if you ask him about new places to explore and if you tell them that you are brave enough

Legends' Guild shop

The key may also be purchased in the Legends' Guild for 1 coin by players who have completed the Legend's Quest, and also has a spawn point in the Taverley dungeon near the Lava eel fishing spot.
