A fire
A Fire is created in the firemaking skill. To create one, drop any kind of log, and use a tinderbox on it. Different kinds of logs require different required levels to start the fire. It is possible to fail making a fire, if you do fail keep trying and eventually it will create one. You will fail less with higher firemaking levels. The experience for burning normal logs is . Fires are similar to ranges, as they are used to cook on. Your firemaking level and the type of log used will have no effect on the duration of the fire.
