These are a good screenshots for a page gallery.
We need to document what things look like with the default client/settings, cropped so that everything is visible. Using tricks to take a zoomed-out screenshot is okay *if* it's providing a useful overview of what the location looks like from above. If NPCs aren't showing up because they're out of range, and the angle is weird and providing a distorted perspective it's less useful.
- I disagree in the blanket idea that non-cropped (client) is best. If you are showing an area, sure. But if you trying to focus on something IE bubbles then having an entire frame does not add much and could serve to be a distraction.
- In the wider sense I still feel that inter page images can still stand to be cropped, especially if the intention is just to focus on a certain object or point. If a person were to red circle something, that could work. However, that would lead to the image being squished on the page and is not too visually appealing to those who may just wish to casually look at pages.
- As far as the Shallow water image is concerned, while having a fuller image does give more context, having the map page open or a circled map would provide a lot of needed context as to where a location is. But that is more commentary on the subject than the premise of this screenshot talk.
