The fountain in Draynor Manor is a particular fountain filled with alive Piranhas (or dead when the user has poisoned them during Ernest the Chicken). The fountain features a Search option in which the player does not have the courage to search it when it has alive Piranhas:
- Player: There seems to be a pressure gauge in here
- Player: There are a lot of Pirhanas[sic] in there though
- Player: I can't get the gauge out
Feeding Fish Food produces the following message:
- You pour the fish food into the fountain
- You see the pirhanas[sic] eating the food
- The pirhanas[sic] seem hungrier than ever
Feeding Poisoned fish food produces the following message:
- You pour the poisoned fish food into the fountain
- You see the pirhanas[sic] eating the food
- The pirhanas[sic] drop dead and float to the surface
When the Piranhas are dead and whilst the player does not have a Pressure gauge in their inventory during the quest, the fountain can be searched for a pressure gauge:
- Player: There seems to be a pressure gauge in here
- Player: There are also some dead fish
- you get the pressure gauge from the fountain
When the player has a Pressure gauge in their inventory or upon quest completion the Fountain can still be searched but will no longer give Pressure gauge, and just the message:
- It's full of dead fish
