Before quest

Garv: Hello, what do you want?

During the quest

Attempting to open the door first time after having the ID Paper and dressed as black knight

• Garv: Where do you think you're going?
• Player: Hi, I'm Hartigen
• Player: I've come to work here
• Garv: So have you got your i.d paper?
• Garv: You had better come in then
• Garv: Grip will want to talk to you

Talking to him having the ID Paper and not fully dressed as black knight

• Garv: Hello, what do you want?
• Player: Hi, I'm Hartigen
• Player: I've come to work here
• Garv: Hartigen the black knight?
• Garv: I don't think so - he doesn't dress like that

Talking to him not having the ID Paper

• Garv: Where do you think you're going?
• Player: Hi, I'm Hartigen
• Player: I've come to work here
• Garv: So have you got your i.d paper?
• Player: No I must have left it in my other suit of armour

Post-quest

• Garv: Hello, what do you want?
  • Can I go in there? (Note: There refers to the building he guards)
    • Player: Can I go in there?
    • Garv: No in there is private
  • I want for nothing
    • Player: I want for nothing
    • Garv: You're one of a very lucky few then

If the player attempts to open the door he guards and is unable to enter

• Garv: Where do you think you're going?
