A Gold ring is a useless item that can be made with the Crafting skill. It is made by using a gold bar on a furnace while having a ring mould in the character's inventory. This requires a crafting level of 5 or higher and provides 15 crafting experience.

Like all other rings, it cannot be equipped in RuneScape Classic. It is not considered worthwhile to cast the high alchemy spell on, and has no use in any quest. They are not often created by players seeking to train crafting, and no monsters drop them.
A gold ring is always received by the player with as a part of a reward for completing the Pirate's Treasure quest.
