The Golden Bowl is a quest item used during Legend's Quest. One golden bowl requires 2 gold bars to make, and yields 30 Smithing experience. Gold bars made of "perfect" gold from Zanash dungeon cannot be used to make bowls.
There is a chance to make a mistake while hammering the bowl and when it happens you will lose 1 gold bar and receive 1 Smithing experience. The fail rate is about 1:12 at level 71 Smithing.
Although the bowls can be alched, they cannot be sold to General Stores, making it a tedious item to get rid of if used to train Smithing.
Filling the bowl[]
The bowl can be used on water sources to get Golden Bowl with plain water. With the help of cut reed plant, it can be used on shallow water to obtain Golden Bowl with pure water.
Blessing the bowl[]

During the Legend's Quest, the bowl is blessed with Gujuo in a ritual requiring medium-level Prayer.
