A Herb (aka. unid or unidentified herb) is a key ingredient in the Herblaw skill. It must be identified before use, with each type of herb requiring a different level to identify.
When stored in the bank, unidentified herbs will stack based on which herb they'll end up being because each one has an associated unidentified form.

Chaos druids are known to have the best herb drop rate, and are commonly killed for that reason, as well as the fact that they drop several Herblaw secondary ingredients.
Trivia[]
- In the items database, there exists a herb that appears before the rest of the other tradeable herbs. This is most likely due because although Herblaw was implemented in 2002, it could have served as a testing item in the early days of RuneScape Classic.
