An Iron Axe (sometimes referred to as an iron hatchet) is an axe which requires level 1 Attack to wield. It can be made from 1 iron bar at level 16 Smithing, yielding 25 experience. It can also be purchased from Bob's Axes in Lumbridge, Gulluck and Sons in the Grand Tree, or King Lathas' Weaponry Shop in the Combat Training Camp.
Like all Woodcutting axes, it does not require a Woodcutting level to use, only an Attack level to wield.
