Iron arrow heads can be obtained from Smithing an iron bar on an anvil at level 20 Smithing. One bar produces 10 arrow heads, and gives 25 Smithing experience. With level 15 Fletching, they can be attached on headless arrows, to gain iron arrows and 25 Fletching experience.

- They can be bought from either Gulluck and Sons in the Grand Tree, which has a stock of 180 arrow heads for 3 GP each, a total of 540 GP.
- They can also be purchased from Hickton's Archery Store in Catherby, which has a stock of 180 arrow heads for 3 GP each, a total of 540 GP.
- The most expensive option is King Lathas' Weaponry Shop, located in the Combat Training Camp, also requiring completion of the Biohazard quest to access. The shop has a stock of 180 arrow heads for 4 GP each, a total of 720 GP.
