Before the quest[]

Jungle Forester: Hello friend, you're a long way from civilisation!
- What do you do here?
  - Player: What do you do here?
  - Jungle Forester: I'm a forester, and I specialise in exotic woods.
  - Jungle Forester: I've not managed to penetrate the Kharazi jungle very far,
  - Jungle Forester: but I have found some interesting specimens of trees.
  - Jungle Forester: If you do happen to get into the Kharazi jungle, do come and let me know.
  - Jungle Forester: I'd love to be able to safely navigate my own way in and out.

  - Jungle Forester: I'm a jungle forester,
  - Jungle Forester: Names mean little in this part of the world.

        So someone managed to get into the Kharazi Jungle?

        Jungle Forester: Yes, he said he was from some place...near the Barbarian outpost.
        
        Jungle Forester: Mentioned something about a legend ?
        
        Jungle Forester: It meant nothing to me though.

  - Player: How do I get into the Kharazi jungle?
  - Jungle Forester: Well, I've not managed it yet,
  - Jungle Forester: But I heard that someone managed to find a way in..
  - Jungle Forester: But they only just managed to to escape the jungle with their lives.
  - Jungle Forester: Apparently he was on a mission to map the area.
  - Jungle Forester: How foolish is that?
    - Well, in fact I plan to map that area myself.
      - Player: Well, in fact I plan to map that area myself.
      - The forester looks very interested..
      - Jungle Forester: Oh, well, that sounds quite good actually...
      - Jungle Forester: Sorry if I sounded rude before, it just didn't seem like a good idea to me.
      - Jungle Forester: I guess I just wouldn't want to do it myself.
      - Jungle Forester: But a map of that area would certainly be a big task.
      - Jungle Forester: And it would certainly be very useful...

  - Jungle Forester: You swing it above your head and it makes a strange sound,
  - Jungle Forester: it seems to attract their attention.
    - Can I have the item please?

      - Jungle Forester: Well, I wish I could give it to you.
      - Jungle Forester: However, I have grown fond of it.
      - Jungle Forester: And it may help me incase I get lost in the jungle.

[The jungle forester looks speechless.]
Jungle Forester: This is very impressive!
Jungle Forester: I'm amazed, it's just great!
Jungle Forester: Do you mind if I make a copy of it, and I'll give you an item in return.
- Yes, go ahead make a copy!
  - Player: Yes, go ahead make a copy!
  - Jungle Forester: Many thanks friend.
  - [The Jungle Forester takes out some parchment and some charcoal.]
  - [He studiously renders another copy of your map.]
  - Jungle Forester: Many thanks friend.
  - [He takes out a strange looking object and hands it to you.]
  - Jungle Forester: Here, I won't be needing this any longer, and it may help you.
  - Jungle Forester: Whenever I've used it before, it attracted the attention of jungle natives.

  - Player: What will you give me in return?
  - Jungle Forester: Well, I can offer you this?
  - [The Jungle Forester takes out a strange looking object.]
  - [It looks like a wooden pole, with string attached to one end.]
  - [And at the other end of the string is shaped piece of wood.]
  - Jungle Forester: If you swing this above your head, it makes a strange sound.
  - Jungle Forester: I noticed that it attracts the attention of the natives.
  - Jungle Forester: s it a deal? Can I make a copy of your map?
    - Yes, go ahead make a copy!

Using the Bull Roarer near him[]

[You start to swing the bullroarer above your head.]
[You feel a bit silly at first, but soon it makes an interesting sound.]
[Nothing much seems to happen though.]
Jungle Forester: You might like to use that when you get into the
Jungle Forester: Kharazi jungle, it might attract more natives...
