Ladder

RuneScape uses the British convention for floor numbering: ground floor, first floor (immediately above the ground floor), second floor, etc.

Ladders are common scenery in RuneScape Classic. Similarly to stairs, they are used for moving between one floor and another in buildings and entering different levels of dungeons.

Some guilds and buildings like Champions' Guild, Crafting Guild, Keep LeFaye, and Fishing Guild have what is called an Emergency escape ladder that can take the player straight outside from the 1^st2^nd floor^[UK] in the event the player gets stuck.
