Mithril arrow heads can be obtained from Smithing a mithril bar on an anvil at level 55 Smithing. One bar produces 10 arrow heads, and gives 50 Smithing experience. With level 45 Fletching, they can be attached on headless arrows, to gain mithril arrows and 75 Fletching experience.

- They can be bought from either Gulluck and Sons in the Grand Tree, which has a stock of 140 arrow heads for 32 GP each, a total of 4480 GP.
- They can also be purchased from Hickton's Archery Store in Catherby, which has a stock of 140 for 32 GP each, a total of 4480 GP.
- The most expensive option is King Lathas' Weaponry Shop, located in the Combat Training Camp, also requiring completion of the Biohazard quest to access. The shop has a stock of 140 arrow heads for 48 GP each, a total of 6720 GP.
