Passage

Passages are scenery objects located in the Underground Pass. They lead to four orbs of light that must be collected in order to proceed in the Underground Pass quest. After the quest is done, the orbs are no longer needed to enter the lower depths of the dungeon.

Player who has used a Plank on the passage to safely cross

Passage (grill)

Examine: A strange metal grill covers the passage

The other version of a passage is a passage covered in a grill with spikes at the end. If players enter the passage without first using a rope on the nearby Stalagmite the player will take damage as the entire passage tilts down.

Messages

If player tied a rope to the nearby Stalagmite:

you tie one end of the rope to the stalagmite

and the other around your waist

you walk down the passage way

the floor seems unstable

suddenly with a huge creek the whole passage way swings down

your rope saves you, slowly you lower yourself to the floor

The passage way has swung down to a vertical position

If player has used a rope on the stalagmite

Player who has used a rope and is exiting the turned passage:

you pull your self up the rope

and climb back into the cavern

as you pull yourself up you hear a mechanical churning

as the passage raises back to it's original position

If player did not use a rope:

you walk down the passage way

the floor seems unstable

suddenly with a huge creek the whole passage way swings down

throwing you onto a pit of spikes

Player: aaarrrgh

Examine: The passage way has swung down to a vertical position

Player who has not used a rope and is exiting the turned passage:

you begin to climb up the grill

[If player passes]

as you pull yourself up you hear a mechanical churning

as the passage raises back to it's original position

[If player fails]

but you fall back to the floor

impailing yourself on the spike's once more
