A Ranging potion is a potion that can be made with the herblaw skill. It requires level 72 herblaw to make and gives 162.5 experience. When consumed, the players ranged level temporarily increases by 10% + 4.
To make a ranging potion, first add a Dwarf Weed to a vial of water creating an unfinished dwarf weed potion, then mix in wine of Zamorak. As with most potions, you initially make 3 doses of the potion and the doses decrease as you drink them.

- Despite the level needed to make a ranging potion is much higher than the super Melee Potions, its effects resemble the regular Melee potions, with exception of raising 1 additional level. This was fixed in RuneScape 2 where the ranging potion enters the super Potion category.
