Rune arrow heads can be obtained from Smithing a Rune bar on an anvil at level 90 Smithing. One bar produces ten arrow heads, and gives 75 smithing experience. With a Fletching level of 75 they can be attached on Headless Arrows, to gain 125 Fletching experience and Rune Arrows.

They can also be purchased from Hickton's Archery Store in Catherby, which has a stock of 100 arrow heads for 400 GP each, a total of 40,000 GP, making these the most expensive arrow heads in the game.
