A runite bar is a bar which can be used to make runite items. It is made by using runite ore on a furnace with 8 coal in the player's inventory and at least level 85 Smithing, yielding 50 experience.

Forging runite bars[]
Runite bars can be used for forging as part of the Smithing skill. By using a runite bar on an anvil with a hammer in the player's inventory, runite armour and weapons can be created. Each runite bar yields 75 experience when forged into an item.
