Sand pit

Examine: I can use a bucket to get sand from here

A Sand pit is a piece of scenery that the player may interact with in order to collect sand, which is done by using an empty bucket on the Sand pit. This can be done as frequently as can be clicked, as the Sand pit may be used by multiple players at the same time and is never depleted of sand. They were made functional in RuneScape Classic on 18 March 2002 as part of an update which allowed players to utilize the Crafting skill in the creation of molten glass. Using a glassblowing pipe on molten glass allows the player to craft additional items such as unfilled vials, empty beer glasses, unpowered orbs, and more.

LocationsEdit

There are three different Sand pits which may be found around Gielinor in RuneScape Classic:

  • Entrana
    • The player may not bring any weapons or armour here
  • Yanille
    • This sand pit is on the side of Yanille opposite of the bank
  • Zanaris
    • (Completion of the Lost City quest is required)
    • This Sand pit is the closest in Classic to a bank
