Shamans Tome is a quest item from Legend's Quest, found by searching a Crude Desk surrounded by flamewalls in Ungadulu's chamber.
Synopsis[]
The Shamans Tome contains entries by an unnamed Shaman who writes about being trapped in a "flaming Octagram" and his fleeting hopes for escape. It is implied that the Shaman has trapped himself within the walls of this magic purposely, to spare the world of a beast within himself which he has no control over. He also writes that the state he is stuck within can be weakened with magic, but that he doubts any potential hero or savior would know this useful information. This fuels the Shamans fear of bringing harm to the world and also being stuck within the walls of flame for eternity.
