The Shantay Pass is an area south of Al Kharid that allows access further south into the Kharidian desert. Players must purchase a Shantay Desert Pass to use the pass. The desert south of the pass is dangerous and requires water skins to protect against the desert heat. Desert clothing improves the effectiveness of the skins. A disclaimer spawns near the pass, warning players of the dangers beyond.
