Smithing

Smithing is a skill in RuneScape Classic. It allows to make weapons and armors made out of metal.

Smithing is a production skill where a player makes useful metal items from ore and bars. It is one of the more popular skills since a player can make a profit from selling his/her bars and other smithed items if all or some of the raw materials are gathered by the player.

Smithing has two distinct parts: smelting and forging.

Smelting

1 Bronze bar - Copper ore + Tin ore - 6,5 experience

Forging

You get a menu after using a bar on an anvil:

  • Throwing Knife
  • Sword
    • Short sword
    • Long sword
    • Scimitar
    • 2-handed sword
  • Axe
    • Hatchet
    • Battleaxe
  • Mace
• Make Armour
  • Helmet
    • Medium Helmet
    • Large Helmet
  • Shield
    • Square Shield
    • Kite Shield
• Make Missle Heads
  • Make Arrow Heads
• Make Craft Item
  • Make Bronze Wire (Bronze only)
• Cancel
