The tree gnome translation is a quest item used in the Grand Tree quest to translate the old gnome language spoken by Hazelmere. It is given to the player by King Narnode Shareen. It contains the English alphabet equivalent of several fictional Gnome symbols which were created specifically for RuneScape Classic. Reading the book will cause a chart of the translations to appear in a window which then must be closed to return to the game.
