The Wilderness hobgoblin mine is located between level 29-31 of the Wilderness, south of the Lava Maze.

Hobgoblin mine is useful for mithril mining but the player must be ready to dispatch aggressive Hobgoblins.

Banking

The closest banks are in Mage Arena and Edgeville. Having multiple Charged Dragonstone Amulets makes banking to Edgeville much faster.

Multitasking

The mine is applicable for combat training, or for collecting Limpwurt roots, Nature-Runes and Law-Runes dropped by Hobgoblins. Although their fleeing combined with the wide area can make it somewhat difficult.

Another way to multitask is to smelt the ores either with Superheat item spell or in the furnace at the Ruins to the east. The bars can be smithed at an anvil in the west Ruins and be made into Arrow heads or alchables.
