A Yew logs certificate is a certificate that is obtained by exchanging five yew logs with Chuck north of East Ardougne, by smashing Strange Barrels, or as a drop from the King Black Dragon. Yew log certificates are stackable and each one can be exchanged back for five yew logs by talking to Chuck.
Because yew logs are not stackable and players can only trade twelve items per trade screen, they are often exchanged for certificates so that they can be traded easier and faster.
